The England men’s national team have done us proud this far.

As of writing, England are through to the quarter-finals of the World Cup 2026 after beating Mexico(!). They will play Norway and the thought of them coming up against Erling Haaland makes me laugh, but it’ll be an exciting game!

I’ve always enjoyed football after playing as a kid on the school team, but I’ve never really followed the Premier League or anything, mainly because I just don’t know what team to follow (usually I just support whoever I’m told to). But when it comes to the World Cup, the patriotism and national pride comes rolling out.

Annoying that this quarter-final game will be at 4am Korea time, but at least it’ll be a Sunday morning. COME ON ENGLAAAAAND!
