This week’s round-up includes taking a break, and that’s about it.

This week’s update isn’t the norm.

Truthfully, it’s been a busy couple of weeks, so much so that I’ve not had a lot of mental space for my usual hobbies or for enjoying things. Life has been life-ing, the day job has been day jobbing, and brain rest without analysing everything has been needed. Being in the moment was far more necessary than thinking about blogging.

But, I am feeling refreshed. Yesterday a friend and I treated ourselves to a second viewing of Project Hail Mary in a boutique screen at the Megabox in the COEX mall in Gangnam (pictured left), and it really was a treat. We had some delicious food and wine, then afterwards we ate pasta and cheesecake while having a good ol’ catch-up and natter. It was much needed, for the both of us. We’re planning on doing it again in a few weeks when The Devil Wears Prada 2 is released – but with more wine!

Seeing Project Hail Mary again felt fitting, as it was the same day that the Orion splashed down after the Artemis II trip around the Moon. Watching that live made me truly emotional. We’ll all be anticipating the Artemis III mission in 2027 and the next Moon landing in 2028 with Artemis IV (fingers crossed it will go ahead!).

Anyway, that’s about all I have for this round-up. I hope to come back in a couple of weeks with a lot more to write about, especially now my cup is starting to fill again ♡
